Great production- just one lil complaint!
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I visited Shea's Buffalo to watch Chicago - The Musical. The acting was fantastic and funny, and the singing was incredible. Roxy was a delight to watch, her singing and dancing were superb, and she was also hilarious. I wasn't a huge fan of Velma's voice, although she sang well, it just didn't suit my taste. Matron "Mama" stole the show with her amazing, soulful voice, surpassing her performance in "Across the Universe"!
Our main issue was with the set. When you pay over $60 for a ticket, you expect more than just the orchestra on stage. The set was very odd and left a lot to the imagination, which was disappointing.
